Hey! Any update about this game? I've already made a video playing your game, I'm ControleV, hope your doing very well, I really liked this game, just want a feedback about other chapters :3

Hello, first of all, thank you very much for your concern about the progress—it truly makes us happy.

The development of ALONE: Chapter 2 has been quite challenging due to the creative block of the Game Director/Creator. To try and overcome this, he’s been exploring other games and reading books for more inspiration. Unfortunately, creativity can't be forced.

Additionally, the Creator's life has been filled with various parallel events, preventing him from focusing 100% on ALONE: Chapter 2.

Despite these challenges, Chapter 2 is currently 15% complete.

i cant find the third book.  help?

    Which book color?

I already found the red and the green books, so I'm guessing the blue one is missing

The blue one is on Bedroom 3B. You're welcome.

I only have two (technically three) complaints/bugs

    1. the controls menu doesn't say that you can quick turnaround, I was stuck for about 30 minutes on the bridge part before I accidentally did a quick turnaround

    2. there various graphical errors like the key being on the library floor before solving the puzzle, also sometimes I found myself loading into the game to see the wrong bedroom, leaving and reentering the room loads in the correct room but it's still odd

(This is more of a nitpick but the ending sequence wasn't really explained and I had trouble figuring out what I was supposed to do, thankfully it only took 5 to 6 minutes to figure out but I wish there was at least a hint towards what to do)

Other than that I really enjoyed the game and the puzzles were challenging but not annoying, I can't wait to see what happens next, keep up the amazing work!

My Late last part (Was sick with Flu), 1.0.2 has a library visual glitch where after the 3 books are inserted, where the item drops, the 'bling' spark/image is there before the item even drops there. (and other feedback/suggestions/complaints within to hopefully help). Hope people enjoy

Gave it a Let's Play, here's Part 1 with more to come, curious to see where it'll go, bug I found was that I was given 2 Bridge keys for some reason? Also, if I download 1.0.1 would it keep my saves or nah?

Hey! Thank you very much for the gameplay.

Yeah, having two Bridge Keys is a bug.

No, if you update the game to v1.0.1, you’re not going to lose the save files.

Yo this game looks promising, now that there are recent updates. Wishing a speedy and easy dev time, and can't wait to see the official first chapter (or hopefully two lol

This was a very good survival horror game. You did a great job at making it similar to the old school classics like Resident Evil. Can't wait to see more of it.

I'm loving the PS1 aesthetics. The main menu screen and screen fade effect (the one where it sort of increases in contrast as it fades into black) really sells it. Was this project made using the Godot game engine?

Yep. First it was in Clickteam Fusion 2.5 with a totally different style. After months, I decided to bet on 3D games. To make things easier, I thought of creating a retro PS1-style game.

This is really impressive for the Godot engine! PS1-style games are very appealing to me; the distorting polygons work well for horror. I'll admit, I think the floors could use a few more subdivisions to ease the texture warping. Still, if there's more to come of this I'l be sure to stick around!

This is the feedback I receive from most everyone about this ‘floor distortion’.

It is certainly noticeable, so it's understandable the same criticism would show up more than once.

Just finished the demo, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The PS1 boot up screen was quite the surprise. Curious to see how this game goes, hope it isn't another one of those games that never gets completed!

Only thing I can suggest is possibly adding a map system of sorts and possibly something to break up the constant rain noise, while it was a nice touch, it would be great to hear an occasional rumble of thunder or something to prevent it from being repetitious.

I see good potential in this, keep it up!
